NOVA specializes in numerical modeling and simulation of clinical trials for companies, academic research centers and non-profit organizations. We help our clients unleash the potential of combining math, computer science and biology to reduce the risks associated with R&D of new treatments using Jinkō, our clinical trial simulation platform.

At Nova, we are a team of innovation enthusiasts working across a range of fields. In addition to skilled developers in your field, you will also work with biologists, data scientists and applied math engineers. You will join a software engineering team of about 20 people, including four front-end developers.

Our office is located in Lyon (France).

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • You are curious about sciences and eager to continuously learn and use modern web technologies. 
  • You love learning something new every day, staying up-to-date in your field and a useful web design makes you thrilled. You will work in a well-tested and robust code base.
  • You will collaborate on the design and architecture decision process of an ambitious scientific SaaS project. You will build the web components of our SaaS application frontend along with UX and web design experts.
  • You will engineer sophisticated and advanced frontend components, supported by a team that values code reviews, accountability and mentorship: including scientific data visualization, multi-user interactive model editor, AI agentic flows.
  • You will be in touch with the backend/full-stack developers in charge of the backend server that proxies the simulation tools and services. As well as with internal and external users who will share with you direct feedback.
